The thermowells are used:
- for protect the thermometric element from corrosive effects, from the pressure and from the high speed or high temperature of the process fluid.
- for allow, moreover, the interchangeability of the thermometric element or substitution without disturbing the process.
The conduction thermic between element and thermowell is assured by means of the springs load of the ceramics terminal block
